We're too lazy to be different or express ourselves in any more than one dimension. For example, if painting is your thing, you'll only really express yourself in that way and put everything into painting. Well they all knew I usually dressed okay but since we all went off to college they didn't know I was into actual fashion stuff. They mainly were just asking where I bought the stuff. About the brands/designers. Of course price came up but I tried to downplay that. They mainly liked my Our Legacy tech jacket. Raf sweaters. Norse Projects sweaters. Acne trousers and jeans. My chelseas and my low and vintage common projects. I was pretty surprised at how interested they were. And these aren't the type of people to laugh behind my back . I've known them for my whole life and they would laugh in my face if they wanted to make fun of me.
