Can someone post that pic of the slightly worn out cream high tops with the speckled socks?

I find them incredibly silly. I acknowledge that cream shoes have their place, but this is little better than the /fa/ way to wear a big pony Ralph Lauren polo or something.

I already tried them on in-store. Infinitely more comfortable than the previous ones and they look better.

the smaller logo on the previous is much better but the 1970s are like 10x better

>> No.9844984

The large logo looks tacky but will be great for sales as many people who buy CDG Play buy it for the appearance of wealth it represents.

Yes I know you don't have to be fabulously rich to buy CDG Play; lay off.

got the original off white hi tops coming in the mail tomorrow, but im worried it might not fit. Im usually a size 12 and i got the size 11 since i know converse is too large anyway, but it would probably be very cramped at that size.

not really sure what i would get instead if i need to return it.

What the fuck is up with converse sizing? I've tried on the low chucks and was an 8 mens while I usually wear a 9.5 in sneakers and 9 in dress shoes. Apparently 9 converts to 42.5 for the chucks so for these cdg ones what size should i get?

OK so my size 11s came in today and to my surprise, actually fit better than expected. I'm a size 12 on most shoes and for most converse I would probably get an 11.5 but size 11 offered enough space. My toes weren't smashed against the front (make sure of this), and yes the toebox was a little tight, but it should fit much better with more use. If you normally get wide sized shoes then I would check twice because it might be too tight.
They fit really well even with socks on. My main worry is growing them out (I'm 18) but my feet have stayed around the same size for a few years now so just gotta hope for the best

interesting.

I usually wear a 10 or 10.5 and the size 10 CDG fit me perfect as well

pic related, they look SO much better after they get dirtied up

Yea I'm a tad bit fearful that I'll grow 100 sizes up in a months time and then have to sell it so I'm hesitant but it'll get dirty naturally. I've been. Sick for 2 weeks and just at home, so I only really wore it for a few min today

it actually is. it will be black for a week or so, but it fades away and turns more into a gray stitching. its harder on the eyes i'd say than the regular colored stitching

<33 of course

i had actually tried these on my vans sk8 hi's. i was really stoked on them while the black stayed true, but i really started to resent them after it faded away.
i really wouldn't recommend doing this unless you didn't give a shit about the shoes you were applying sharpie too

>> No.9851148

>>9851137
ok. i've read somewhere else that black paint pen works a lot better than sharpie, so if you want to you can try that as well. i just bought some black jack purcells, but they have contrast stitching on it as well so i'm gonna try the paint pen.
