generally speaking, distressed clothing is only cheap stuff. The only place that does it is True Religion and they are literal fashion victim tier. Good faded denim will not have fake painted on thigh whiskers or tears. Patrik Ervell sells the most desirable light jeans, but they are $275. The next best color is Levis 501 in light stonewash, but they will need to be tapered from the mid hip down depending on your thighs. I keep my eye open 24/7 for a good light washed denim and everything I have ever seen at a mall is pure shit. It's very difficult.
