so what's the consensus on stan smiths? kind of trying to avoid them but i really need a pair of casual sneakers for the summer. mostly gonna wear them with cropped pants.

how's the quality on superstars?

Consensus is they are overplayed to a ridiculous level, depends of your town. GATs would be a much better choice. Superstars are ok quality but their toe box is shit.

overplayed is an understatement my friend. Here in Manhattan I go some streets seeing more people wearing stans than any/all other shoes put together. Its kind of pathetic.
