What do you guys think of J Crew?

>> No.9694242

I like it

>> No.9694293

I enjoy it

>> No.9694301

pretty good.

>> No.9694385

It is a store that I prefer over several other brands.

>> No.9694424

Pretty good. Versatile.

>> No.9694425

Overpriced mediocre shit

>> No.9694428

It's okay.

>> No.9694438

It feel good

Banana republic is cheaper, fits better, and has better styles at the same quality.

Fuck prep anyway. It's boring and lacks personality.

>> No.9694566

its good on sale provided you find the more /fa/ accepted styles (their oxfords and jeans and shit are great)

>> No.9694576

mfa tier

>> No.9694592

I like 60 or 70 percent of their individual items, but completely hate the way they style their models/looks. You can get some good looking stuff there, but I would never wear it the way a lot of their regular buyers would.

>> No.9694669

Some of their basics are good but J. Crew tends to verge on dad-core.

>> No.9696499

its bretty gud

>> No.9696523

not worth the price. To be honest my favorite place to go for basics is the Gap. All the shirts/chinos/whatever I've got there have been much thicker, softer, and better looking than anything I've had from J Crew, and J Crew never has any good sales.

>> No.9696666

I got a nice button up from there once, and for $20 it's the best button up I've ever had.
>20/10 would cop again

this. j. crew makes the same safe 'fashion' that you could easily find in old navy.

it's hilarious to me that a lot of upper-middle class plebs in my area wear j. crew exclusively. the brand knows that pricing a plain black pencil shirt at $160 and writing a paragraph about the "superluxe Italian-made cotton" = profit.

Uniqlo's button downs are horribly boxy and I can't understand why anyone likes them, the rest of their stuff is alright though

Uniqlos OCBDs fit me great, personally.
