IMO it doesn't really matter about brands, but the design of the products. You get a sense of aesthetic with said designs associated with the products.

Here are some that most of /fa/ will agree on...

A nice minimalist black shirt with a nice cut that will improve your silhouette. Since its black its very versatile and can be worn with almost everything.

Again going with what I said about the aesthetic of the designs. Very nice lines that will make you have a "futuristic" type of aesthetic.

Now for the bottoms. I would recommend jeans from a reputable jean manufacturer. These listed above are really rare for a really low price. If you don't like them you can always resell them for a lot more because of the resell value.

This one is a relatively cheap since your new to /fa/, you can always upgrade when you have more money to spend on. /fa/ really like these because of its timeless design and as the saying goes. "A hat every man should own"

Again this monochrome outfit will definitely better you to achieve pic related type of aesthetic. Hope this helps!

some of them, yes

it's best to decide for yourself how much money you're willing to throw down on a garment

but if i were making an okay amount of money i would buy from certain scandinavian streetwear brands like norse projects and our legacy
with select pieces from second-hand sources, that way you get a good balance of quality, decent pricing and versatile design
you can't go wrong

otherwise just stick with uniqlo/grailed if big spending isn't your thing

CPs being "in" is equivalent to plain t-shirts being in. They're just white sneakers for christ's sake. I suppose the bball his and creepers give the company a bit more variety but I still consider well made plain white sneakers to neither be in, or out.

While he may not be "in" in regards to the masses, or possibly even on here, he most definitely is my favorite designer atm. Jan Jan Van Essche has yet to do anything that I dislike so far. I have been meaning to make a thread to see what other anons think about his work. I absolutely love his stuff and will continue to cop as much as I can from him even though it's pretty God damn expensive. Antwerpen designers can do no wrong it seems.

I also really enjoy Cav Empts stuff, however after owning the plague hoodie I found the quality to be subpar, and not really in regards to the price but just the design made me expect the sweater to have a much nicer feel than it did.
