I've got a white/grey sib. He's pretty chill for his breed, he's still playful and energetic but he isn't violent, I've never seen him even bark at strangers, he's very attached to me, and he's a surprisingly good running partner.
I also never see people with these even though they're a really well known and sought after breed since breeders in my country are pretty much non existent.
As a result I get approached a lot because of him and he's actually made me a few friends. I think he's actually better at interacting with people than I am.

Because of this small dogs are a lot more "confident", dominant and territorial

Well I don't want to be annoying or something but it's a very territorial type of dog, higher chance of making a fuss about defending against other dogs, animals stuff like that. Like chasing mice and stuff in the garden. Mine is very sweet and super loveable with family and people he knows, and won't do anything to strangers in the home or at walks at all. But don't let him catch a stranger or strange animal touching his bed, cause he'll rip him a new one.

I would argue that the breed has to be a single coat, this knocks out a bunch of breeds, and cannot be a curly or wired hair breed, only short haired or long hair, this ensures a perfect sleek coat with no fluff.
This might mean greyhound, doberman, or long hair breeds with well groomed hair like the Afghan Hound. They should also have long legs, narrow bodies, no fatties or manlets allowed.
