Yea that was me. I thought the other thread was dead so I haven't checked it. I tried using bleach diluted in water the first time but that did literally nothing. So i poured straight bleach onto them and left them overnight in the bathtub to dry. By the next afternoon they were dry. Sprayed them with some febreeze and they were done. Mine don't smell like bleach anymore unless you put your nose right into it. I'm sure that depends on how old your shoes are and what they smelled like before.
