Boots edition

Which brand has the least quality control issues? I've heard that Wolverine, Alden, Dayton and Oak Street all have problems with creasing, off colors, bad welts etc. Would it be better to go for a European brand, e.g. Crockett and Jones or Alfred Sargent?

Oak Street is decent quality, but overpriced for what you get

Alden is good, but can have poor qc.

Dayton had that clusterfcuk with the w+h thing, but I think they've got their shit together now. Decent alternative to viberg.

All brands have the potential for qc issues. The people who talk about $700+ shoes on internet forums are a bunch of picky faggots.
