Shoe thread! Ask/Answer questions about shoes. My questions are what shoes go well with blue/black jeans? What's an every-day pair of shoes that is resilient and will last several years?

I have 40 bucks and really wanna cop some shoes. I'll be wearing them with tan/brown chinos, plaid shirts, etc. Also, if it helps, I'm a 5'3" manlet with a hitler youth haircut, an athletic build, and good posture.

Anyone have any good recommendations?

Anyone got any recommendations for a pair of brown suede chelsea boots for ~£-100? obviously happy to go lower than that or a little higher if they're real nice

I've been looking for some for casual wear with a roundish sort of toe, but the ones I've found/tried in that price range were structured to have a long toe and didn't really work for my fits

Definitely go for derbies if you're looking for casual. Cap-toe oxford is the quintessential dress shoe. It would look very out of place. Derbies are a nice middle ground imo
