I'm getting a haircut tomorrow since my hair is way too long. I'm thinking of just shortening the back and sides.

Is this considered /fa/? I have shitty hair at the moment, and I wanted to go for something short and manageable/simple when spring rolls around.

I told her (different stylist) that I was ok coming back later for a haircut but she insisted that she would be able to do mines after finishing with her guest. 15-20 minutes later, it was my turn. To be realistic, expect about a centimeter of growth per month. Wash your hair in cold/slightly warm water to prevent heat damage. Use argan oil and conditioner to keep it healthy. Eat some supplements containing keratine and Zn if you want. This way your hair will be long and fabulous.

as for time it depends on how long your hair is now. I'd say past awkward by six months and into officially long at about a year. I think my hair's about a year old now.

So, I am pretty ssatisfied with my haircut, but the sides and the back is fucking killing me. Whenewer I tell my barber that I want my sides and back trimmed as short as possible, I get semi-trimmed sides, leaving the bulk on the higher zone which is disgusting, and the awful "tails" oni the back are always there no matter how short my barber thims it. I tried asking for even shorter lenth on the back, but all I get is excuses like "your hair grows in strange direction there, it will look wierd if I trim it shorter".
