So I have wavy hair, my problem when I try to grow my hair out is that it just gets super thick and starts to look bad. Especially as, because my grows in locks, different parts grow at different rates. Not a unique problem my any means - but every time I ask the hair dresser to just thin it out and tidy it up a little, they cut it right down to the top again. This has happened like 5 times at different places.

At a certain point yeah you should. If your goal is purely the bun then don't get it trimmed until way later, otherwise you'll get set back. If it's the long hair down that you're after then once it's touching your shoulders get it trimmed correctly.

I can't argue with your sound proof my cheeky friend :). I train primarily for my enjoyment and fitness levels. I like cardio too for instance 5km swims, 1.5 mile runs in under 8 minutes 30 and I've done a 15 mile run in 2 hours 20. After finishing that horrible diet I naturally became lean, less bloated and much more appealing.

Thanks mate, I think I'm going to stick with growing my hair out at least for a bit longer. Sort of a bucket list type of thing, I've never had long hair and it will be hard to do this type of thing when in a career

I tie it back every day in a "man bun". Whenever I let it out I can pull out what seems like 200 hairs or a big clump of hair. It seems like my hair is falling out but I guess that just happens when your hair is long.

It takes like 3-4 hours to fully dry after a shower :(
