You obviously have a DSLR, looks like a Nikon d3200 or a canon rebel? I feel like your ISO is WAY too high, your white balance is on something weird other than "auto" and your shutter speed is on like 60fps.

If youre gonna have that camera, at least learn the triangle of exposure. Maybe open aperture much more, adjust to 100-120fps and put ISO on 400-800. Then adjust and lower shutter to achieve a brighter capture?

The photo is worse than the outfit. Outfit is very Ukrainian pill dealer. Not totally bad but I probably wouldn't trust you.

Yes definitely. But also remember that it's not the camera that takes beautiful pictures, its the photographer. 35mm is a lot of fun though. The 1.8 has to do with the aperture, 1.8 is pretty low so you can open it super wide to narrow the depth of field and get that nice "bokkeh" effect.
