I usually wear the same thing. Just picked up a few merino wool sweaters from Uniqlo that were on sale. Personally, I've always thought widows peaks look a bit odd, so I would lose that. I'm black, and I have my hair cut so its short on the sides and longish on top, although I comb the top down so I don't look like a pencil.

Otherwise, I've found that fros goes well with most semi-formal fits and look pretty cool if you take care of it. They don't really work with monochrome-/fa/-trickyricky-trunks fits though, you need short hair for those.

I'm going to be putting on about 3-4 stone or about 42-56 lbs, but I want to buy some specific outerwear and I'm afraid it'll be gone by time I'm fine with my size.

How long on average does it take to go up a size? Say from a small to a medium, just average weight gain.
Also, how long would it take to put on 2 waist inches?

Apologies for not being able to be more specific here.

You guys are my people, and you all seem to have a pretty good grasp on this sort of thing, so here's my question:
What should I wear that would go well with my date's prom dress?
Colors, tux styles, and general tips would all be greatly appreciated.
Also the dress will be more of a hot pinkish color than the picture's yellow.
And I am 18, before you all ask.

Have a friend with this issue. She uses long sleeves, pants, and wrist gloves (think goth/hippie/rave).

There are ways to manage it though. There are many different kinds of scar therapies that can be used to make them less visible. Etching agents, whitening agents (to lessen "hyper-pigmentation"), LASER, silicone (works to some degree). Skin-true tattoos are also available in order for the scars to blend in. My friend is considering cosmetic scarification in the areas.

An easier, but not as effective, thing is of course make-up. Hiding scars is hard without hiding the skin. The most foolproof way is to get some kind of scar treatment.

Well, it's luckily untrue that no treatment helps to get rid of stretch marks. There are several treatments that can be used to lessen their appearance. Getting rid of stretch marks completely is unlikely though. Expect mild-moderate benefits.

Generally you need to seek professional help to treat stretch marks (or "striae" in medspeak) successfully. You will most likely need to go to a doctor who is a specialist in dermatology (dermatologist).

These are the main treatments:
- LASER (pulsed dye LASER)
- Chemical dermabrasion (concentrated AHA, ascorbic acid - sometimes also combined with tretinoin).
- Microdermabrasion (mechanical, multiple treatments)

I think there were some other milder topical treatments (applied to skin), but I can't remember what those were. Ask your doctor.

I hope it turns out okay.

It's starting to warm up, but it's still pretty cold in the mornings so I'd like something that is almost like a windbreaker. >>9382687

If you look, you'd be surprised by the huge variety of people who wear Rick. Think about the jersey styles. An older woman could easily wear the baggy tunics with some Zero + Maria Cornejo pants and Issey jackets. A younger dude could pair a long tee with HBA jeans and Timberlands. A petite girl could wear a maxi tank dress with a cropped knit and leather jacket on top. An older guy could throw a worn and washed long-sleeve under an unstructured suit. You don't build a business to that size buy only selling one thing to one customer; there are more people than you realize who probably have plenty of Rick pieces lurking in their closet.

As far as Nick Wooster goes, he's very much like Rick insofar as they both love Americana, but want a rarified, extravagant version of it. You might just notice the "#menswear" side of it, but isn't Rick—the quintessential modern sportswear designer—exactly expressing a lot of the same values that Wooster professes to want in his (former) buys and his current consulting/branding work?

Just read gq and lift bro. /fa/ are a bunch of tryhards. There are fucking tumblr threads daily. I'm so happy the black trend is over and people are dressing normally with some flair here now. I actually like a lot of the outfits in waywt and I couldn't have said that a year ago.

I feel kinda lost guys. Pic related is what I usually wear to cover up the lack of muscle/bulk on me. Besides that its just a t-shirt and jeans. Any reccomendations on something I can wear that fits my build (6'4'' or so and skinny-ish) without making me look like a faggot?

Album includes more pics. Any/all advice appreciated.

stop wearing hoodies, they are for teenagers. wear a sweater instead. stop wearing boot cut jeans, try something slim but not skinny, levi's 511 in black are nice /fa/ starter jeans. get a decent pair of black boots, not redwing or timberlands. get a decent parka or bomber. read more / lurk more.

This would probably be better off posted to /diy/ but I'll try my luck anyways...

Is there any safe way to remove dried glue/adhesive safely off Palladium boots (quality chink craftsmanship :^)) between the rubber outsole and the upper which is made out of black rubber (dunno what type, If you have boots that contain rubber which isn't the outer sole, assume that)

I can't scrape the glue away obviously because it would scrape the rubber. is there any compound/fluid that works without damaging the rubber as well?

doesn't matter. If what you wear is shit, but you look like you don't care (confident) the fit will look good in someway. You don't need to go weird, just gradually add somethingnew
Also, define "statement piece" and give an example. Some people haved different definitions of this
