Want to get gf new bag. She loves smth like michael kors, furla, all the classic shit. Want to hear any new brands and trends

>> No.9349697

>Michael Kors
>Furla
>Classic

Maybe she'd like a kate spade bag

>> No.9349702

Is she a suburban 40 year old mother of two

>> No.9349704

If you're dating a basic girl, your best bet is to buy her more basic stuff. Kors is a solid idea, but don't forget stuff like Coach, Tory Burch, and Marc by Marc Jacobs.

God-tier:
Louis Vuitton
(anybody who says OP's gf won't like it doesn't have a gf)

High-tier:
Gucci
Chanel
Hermes
Prada
YSL
Balenciaga
Christian Dior

Mid/low-tier:
All others

>> No.9349719

If you can afford, these are some popular brands: celine, chanel, chloe, slp (ysl), balenciaga ...

>> No.9349731

How is LV god tier and Hermes not? LV does never go on sale but there are so many inexpensive entry bags that every one has an LV speedy of neverfull bag. I still agree that girls love LV.

>> No.9349732

>>9349697

Kate Spade rarely put out good bags. Everything is very 'old lady'

I would recommend MK. They are decent basic entry-level bags if you don't have much of a budget. On top of this, new-money Asians are crazy for them, so they have inflated value at the moment.

>> No.9349751

>>9349731
Because it's a status symbol for most women. Go ask some random girl on the street what handbag she would like most. Chances are, she isn't going to say "Hermes". If OP doesn't know what his GF wants, then the best option is to pick a bag that it's the most likely she'll like...

Hermes is good though

>> No.9349759

>>9349751
In that case, I would put Chanel as god tier then. Most all women know Chanel and their cheapest bags are still at least 1-2k. You can get LV bags for less than 1k.

I would say Michael Kors, Kate Spade, or Miu Miu are basic brands; the ones I listed are quite well-regarded as far as handbags go.

Some other brands off the top of my head:
Burberry
Fendi
Bottega Veneta
Mulberry
Celine

But the ones in >>9349717 are all good too :)
good luck

Mulberry is completely basic.

>> No.9353692

Michael kors have blatantly copied the LV never full. They look like try hard bags in my opinion. I carry a Kate Spade for work, it's functional but most of the kate spades are not as beautifully made as others in a similar price range without the commercial success of Kate spade. I love the 3.1 Philip Lim bags. take a look at the net-a-porter website...

how the fuck is mulberry basic, in the UK maybe, but not in the US.

And frankly among the elite, LVs are the epitome of basic. i dont know a single girl without a neverfull.

>> No.9353810

Right, but that doesn't cover the collection and seasonal bags. I'm not a huge logo guy, but even I can appreciate the concept and execution of something like the Petite Maille, even in the monogram.

It's just a really basic law class, like all we learn is the difference between civil and private law, the role of the constitution and case law etc. So it's pretty easy.
