I didn't really like Paglialunga's debut as the CD of Jil, the laborer/workwear homage using vintage French cotton is great but it wasn't as present as he probably hoped for. He should've stuck to ceremony Jil fabrics, I may just be opposed to change though. I really liked the colored garments.

shitty comic book artist here, I dress like I'm trapped in the 90's so I clearly don't know SHIT about fashion; so fashion history introduction accomplished, I'd like to ask.

Why are these shapes and silhouettes appealing to you? From the pictures I've seen posted, and my having seen only a couple shows I'm always baffled about this. Everything seems so either inorganic or hyper-organic that there's not a balance. Then on the other hand, the pieces that DO have a balance are usually kind of boring (shape wise I mean). however, HIS silhouette looks blocky and exaggerated but it's interesting. In this case interesting isn't necessarily good or bad just odd looking (imo).

I've never been a fan of Neil Barrett but this FW is much to my liking, not groundbreaking or even that special but that was never his thing either so that wasn't expected. There was just tons of stuff which i'd love to wear, especially the bombers and some coats had some gorgeous fabrics. Some of the footwear was surprisingly cool as well.
