It's easy, backpack is close to the body and there's another layer of cloth between skin and the backpack. This is a trapped bit of space, similar to genitalia and armpits so it's normal those spaces get hot and thus sweaty.

I'm thinking for high humidity and high heat (tropics) you need loose fits. Loose short sleeve button ups or tees. Loose drop crotch shorts or baggy pants hemmed or cuffed above the ankle. And sandals. Fuck shoes in 40+ temps with 90%+ humidity. It's madness unless they are like slip canvas sneakers or Toms.

Where i live though, it can go -2 in winter and rain. but dam, brutal.
usually a summer here is between 25-40 from december to march.

I'm kind of rich (by Brazil's standards) so I can afford all the expensive stuff even having to pay 50%~80% more than you guys have to pay (considering shipping, proxy fees, and taxes) so that's not the problem.

The problem is that living in this shithole it's almost impossible to wear nice clothes, if during like half of the year I can't wear nothing more than jeans and a t-shirt.
