Neoliberalism was at it's peak in the 80's and 90's. Thatcher being the most recognizable of the bunch. What we have today is a political attempt at reliving those days. Problem is that those formulas don't work anymore today.

So if anything, Camus would recognize the failures in today's neo-neoliberalism and addres them. I guess.
