Anybody have tips for color coordination with a palewave aesthetic?

I mean, obviously lighter colors, but what should I be thinking of when it comes to hue?

So far from my experimenting, I've noticed that a lot of guidelines for combining color still apply when the tones are light and washed out. For example, using the color "adjacent" to a complementary color seems to look nice. For example, blue and yellow, but probably using powder blue and sand or creme.

How about when it comes to neutrals? Heather grays, beiges, lighter browns, etc work, but how should I match those? Also, I've noticed that when it comes to brown, even less pale tones seem to work with a pale palette. Camel seems to work awesomely with white and stuff.

I've been thinking of experimenting with analogous cool tones. Is that too Easter Eggy?

I believe chrome refers to hue, and tone refers to darkness/brightness. So, monotone would mean a single shade or tint. I dunno if it would be a single shade/tint of a single hue, or could have any variety of hues, but all at the same darkness/lightness (if that's even possible-- I think changing hue often necessarily changes tone).

That would still be an odd use of the word "monotone," though, as it tends to refer to sound rather than color (a single sonic tone, like a constant A flat). If we're talking about clothes, you probably mean monochrome. And that's a single hue, put perhaps at varying tones of it.

you can wear denim on denim, even the same shade, just make sure
1.) Youre somewhat good looking
2.) You break it up with a shirt or belt or shoes that are a different color. like white shirt and tan shoes, try to avoid shades of blue or grey
3.) Its slim fitting. The jacket can be oversized if youre skinny or a girl, but the bottom has to be slim fitting, and the top has to be too

no dude, they're painted you stupid fuck.

i read an article about how they were made bruh

they had the denim and hand painted it and each pair is different. why would you bother correcting someone when you just made an ass out of yourself? plus, a simple google search to any product page has them described as "hand painted denim sneakers"

I was talking about both since the jacket says "printed in blah blah" on the label but I just assumed that they were made of the same material or something, my bad.
