I think the rule of thumb is you should contrast your face shape

Taller face = shorter frames
Rounder face = squarer frames
etc.

But different things look good on different people, like I said, go to a store and they'll let you try on lots of stuff. Or use a site like Warby Parker where you can get 5 free home tryons

You can pop the lenses out of frames in case you didn't know, so any store can do it for you.

They will not laugh and judge you. The customer is king. They need your money to live. What kind of gay service is that? And the frames they sell are probably as equally shitty anyways.

The cost of lenses will vary on the type you want. It costs more for upgrades like thinner lenses and glare protection.

If you're a guy with average //enough// features you can break that "opposite of your face shape" rule to an extent to emphasize the strongness and squareness of your face, like you are now. Also if you have a trendy or alternative haircut you can go break this rule even further without it coming off as overly unusual. Just, like, charming and recognizable. It'll make your face easier to remember and recognize.

If you are getting new frames I'd recommend going with thinner arms/wings/ear handles this time. Maybe the style you have now is altern-trendy or whatever and maybe they look OK on you, but they look weird to me and draw attention off of your face and on to your ears. I'd also personally prefer less detail on the corners. While the studs are the stereo hipster thing to get they don't really compliment the glasses and recently all they do is break the minimalism of plain black--and clearly visible logos on the sides are obviously a turn off when they can't be avoided.

Also, if I might say, you owe it to your self and the world to take a million photos of yourself and post them all over.

Amazing how a set of glasses and a bit of makeup has most fuccbois bewildered.

Still jealous of that skin tone and those amazing brown eyes though

Oh yeah, usually my skin is better, just have shitty son right now because of bad diet/bad sleep schedule/slipping on skincare routine/stress due to finals week, should clear back up in a week or two, also normally no wrinkles with resting face, I only used that once since it's the only one where my hair actually stayed back.

Help?

Your hair looks greasy as hell and you have really bad skin, you should take care of those things before getting too much in the hair business, no hair is going to do justice to a face that looks like it has been eaten by plague and greasy hair will look always terrible.

>> No.9244082

>>9243945
Imo you look better without those. Your face is quite square, perhaps try rounder glasses.

You have quite a narrow jaw and chin so avoid glasses with a rimless bottom, or narrow bottom. Definitely more oval/rounder frames would suit you better

For polycarbonate low end trash roughly ~$80 plus shipping

For higher end features or higher end oem lenses you're obviously paying more. (Like high end sapphire)

But for LensCrafters or luxxotica tier shit $80 is where it's at

My eyes are starting to fail so I need glasses.

Should I just go with clubmasters for my face and be safe? or are clubmasters too played-out.
