Like I said, the leather looks like paint, it's also much thinner than the real velcros, padding is definitely thinner at least. The insoles are rather thin as well from what I can remember.

To chime in, stamping is generally all over the place on the newer ones but to some extend alligned to the edge. Then again it's not enough for me to definitely say whether they are fake or not as there are some wonky exceptions.
