I would advise against it unless you want the sleeping bag coat look. Purchased a small and it is very warm and utilitarian but not /fa/ in the least bit. Also, a small will pretty much fit anyone unless you're a 6' 7" whale. They're pretty impractical to get tailored because of the separate pieces (liner, shell, hood) and specific stitching and button details even though many people recommend getting them fitted it won't really work.

Forgot to emnation: some cons
1. it's quite heavy. not combersme, but you can feel that it's made thick and strong
2. The sleves are gigantic. thankfully the cuffs come down to quite slim so most of the time it's not a problem.
3. no hand pockets. This is the only real con. the front pockets are useable in case of rain but you do look like kind of a dork using them

Honestly, most of the time the sleeves look fine. you have to be in a really contrived position for them to look as large as they are. for example, like me in the photo. I actually took it to show a friend of mine how huge the sleeves are. most of the time they look normal
