You mean crepe? I don't have clark's but I do have Ben Sherman boots with a crepe sole. I stepped in cat shit once while I was wearing them, wasn't fun. I used some warm water, dish soap, and a scrub brush to clean the sole. Not only did it get the shit off but it got most of the dirt off with it, so now there is a large clean patch on my sole while the rest of the sole is black. I don't know how well that would work if you're trying to clean the entire sole. I wouldn't even worry about it, it looks fine.

It adds character.

Luckily for me the sides of my soles are still blonde even after a bit of wear, they still look brand new. And no one knows that underneath, my soles are black as hell.
