Are these boots "too much" for a HS student? I keep getting called a hipster.

If you like who you are you should talk back more wittily than them. Ask them when gym class is or if they skateboarded to school. If they only have the one pair of sneakers call them poor.

Also I wore pink plaid chucks and cowboy boots in high school and no one ever made fun of me. But I was always tall and looked like I might shoot up the school.
