They're pretty stylish, not /fa/, I think. They have their own style and don't care for fashion or brands. I moved from where I used to live, so I don't get to see them often, but every time I do their fits are nice and original.

Studied with me, all nice guys, they all dress pretty bad tho. Not that I care, they're all very cool people and smart. They learned some channer culture because we spent so much time together, they're def potential channers, but I know they don't browse chans.

A lot like the second group but with more vintage nerd tastes, also a year younger. We play magic together, it's fun, they also browse chans. Some of them try to be /fa/, but they don't care about fashion or post here, they just dress slightly above avg normal people.

Also from high school, really artistic people, we go to museums, make house parties and hang out in cool places taking cool pictures. They don't come here but they're /fa/ imo, except for color selection in their fits (rarely dress in monochrome, except for me and one girl).

They all interact between them, but don't mix, I'm the only person that transits between these four, but they all like each other. Also, on my birthday I usually make a big party and invite the four groups to eat in a cool restaurant and then hang out.

My best friend is in his last year of fashion design. He is not effay in the Chinese Internet Imageboard sense but he is fashionable as fuck and does his own things. Wears crazy shit that a lot of /fa/ would barf at. No memes (bar a pair of Rafs). Mostly just thrifts and makes fucked up stuff and wears it and has the occasional expensive cop but he is mostly poor af.

I'm modelling for him in the middle of November for his showcasing. Did the fitting but that was just placeholders or prototypes or whatever you call them not the actual pieces. I know he's doing a bomber with a couple of different materials, and these pants that kind of curve out at the knees (hard to explain) if you look at them from front on.

I have only have one friend who has slight interest in being /fa/, and a few that care about how they dress but don't even know about 4chan.

My one friend only seems to be interested in /fa occasionally. He's dresses average to slightly above average.

My few other friends only care about wearing 'cool' shit. It's obvious they put a lot of effort in to it, and normal people probably think they look 'cool', but they dress terrible.

It's more /fa/ to be alone and effay, unless your group is is full of beautiful 6'3 models draped in ann demeulemeester

I had friends once in junior high. My parents made me stop being friends with them. I've never had an opportunity to make friends since then.

I'm really lonely. The only reason why I'm still sane is probably because of my limited social interactions on the internet. I can be friendly with people easily but I've never felt that same bond with anyone since I was a kid, all my relationships are kept formal and distant. I guess in that sense, I would have to change in order to make real friends.

1. Kind of, I'm moving next fall so I'm not really concerned about making friends since I'd lose them soon anyways.
2. Definitely me. I've had people that wanted to be my friends before and I usually just stop talking to them after a while. I think that I just get disinterested. I broke up with my last girlfriend on a whim (I don't regret it at all) and haven't had any real friends since then.
3. To an extent yes. Almost all relationships are founded on mutual dishonesty. You have to pretend that you give a shit about somebody's life until you actually do and then you have a real relationship. I guess I would try to foster interest in something a potential friend is into, but I wouldn't flip personal beliefs for anybody.

I'm mostly just vaguely lonely any more. I have personal hobbies and school to keep me busy but I never go out and socialize or hang out with people.

thanks for answering. I was lucky enough to be popular all the way through life up until high school when I realized I hated everything, I was also highly depressed from being molested as a kid. It wasn't until last year that I decided to overhaul my life and remove the negativity. I realized that who I "was" was just a golem created to deal with the pressures and emotions I was hiding (I was always the friend that had no love, despite getting girls).
So, I moved across the country for a year, forced myself to make new friends and try new experiences.
By tthe end of that year, I decided to change what I called "me." The things that had to go:
>low self esteem despite people telling me I'm attractive and dress well.
>negativity towards others
>beating myself up over my shortcomings or past
>not appreciating things I do have like my family and friends
>being too materialistic

I am absolutely happier and more content than I've ever been (even began studying buddhism seriously). So, my friends, my advice is to be nicer because everyone is suffering with the same problems, and everyone including you WILL die and you will not know when, but no one wants to take the ego hit to make the change and lose the power struggle (even an anonymous one)
