Big phones are dumb as fuck. There's a point where it's just cumbersome to have in your pocket or in your hand. The galaxy S5, or whatever the big Samsung phone is, is too big for instance. I've not held an Iphone 6 plus yet, but it seems too big too.

I have a Nexus 5, and am in the same boat as ifags as well. I'm pretty bummed, the Nexus 6 looks beautiful and has an AMOLED but is 1) 650 bucks :/ and 2) is 6 inches nigga. That ain't gonna fit in my jeans. The battery power isn't worth it, and my tiny bitch hands will have trouble using it.

Moto X 2 just improved the hardware it looks like. It is only 5 inches still, AMOLED screen, buncha cool features, good build quality. Still a little more than I paid for the Nexus 5, but it's a pretty solid phone.

Honestly, the photos are still pretty good for the pricepoint. Apple is still kicking ass and taking names in the camera department, but for me personally, it wasn't worth the other crap that's going on. (Like using itunes ugh)

Moto X 2014's camera is still pretty good for what it's worth. I dunno, personally I'm not in the "camera phone" buyer's market so I don't wanna pretend like I know what some people look for it.

My battery life on my N5 wasn't really any worse than an iphone though personally. I found my friend an I got roughly the same battery depending on what we were doing - usually a day's worth of mid-usage. I can't speak for the Moto X, although I know it gets a little better battery since it uses AMOLED rather than pig-disgusting LCD

take me for example. i thought flip phones were the shit. i wanted a flip phone.

i did some studying, and bought an awesome flip phone from japan (model 007sh) that would work in america, had 2G, could browse the internet (REALLY FUCKING SLOWLY), had an amazing camera, was fucking WATERPROOF, and had that oh-so-awesome flip design with a keypad and a touchable screen. oh, and on top of all of this, it had android.

what could go wrong?

everything. flip phones are UNUSABLE in this day and age. they are a thing of the past that was extremely well designed for the era they were a part of.

but the keypad is a disgrace to mankind, and their tiny ass screen, even though mine was decently sized and could zoom in on shit, is just way too small for anything u need to view.

i hate ranting about shit, but when people rave about how awesome flip phones are, i just vietnam flashbacks to the 6 months i spent with this stupid fucking japanese phone that was only useful for calling.

fuck flip phones for looking so cool, but being SO SHIT.

People looking at new phones right now should just get the 5s. It seems to me that apple is going in the direction of having a full spectrum of iphone/ipad sizes. That will probably include a new 5s-sized phone in the next generation. So wait out the current gen (and its shitty protruding camera failures) and see what happens next gen.
