We had one ages back and the result was the geo-suit and the cargo-tie.

Either outlandish or just not obtainable.

What if there was some sort of oversized article of clothing you wore over your regular outfit? Like if it was cold or raining or something. Stay with me here, but I think there could be some sort of mechanism that connected it in the front? Maybe some...compartment type things to hold your stuff in.

I don't know. Just spitballing here.

Okay this may be really dumb but whatever. I kind of wish there was something like a fabric belt thing that's specifically for layering/adding length into fits. Like I really like the look of a jacket tied around the waist just for the way it trails. So maybe something with thinner fabric that you could hide under your shirt? Idk it sounds kind of dumb but I can't walk around with 2 sweaters on and a third on my waist :c(

actually though I really agree with you. I love the effect that tying shirts/etc around your waist adds, but it feels too basic or too FASHION in a lot of fits. I wish there was something a little more subtle or natural with a similar aesthetic.

The fit on the third guy from the front looks really good.

I was thinking, to make aprons wearable it would require some sort of function. Which is kind of impossible since it only covers the front.

So i got an idea. Since most fits looks best with jackets unbuttoned to show off layers. Wouldn't an apron be perfect to to show off inner layers, but still protect you from cold wind?

Alternatively scarf+apron, just an idea for the kicks.

Eckhaus Latta has always made de/reconstructions of common clothing tropes a big part of their work. Unusual materials are their most obvious calling card as are their obsessive, conceptual break downs of fundamental ideas like seams, allowances, and proportions, but they've also made it a point to challenge the masculine/feminine dichotomy in very overt ways.
