If we only look at this one outfit, it'd be hard to pick out the trendhopping without nitpicking. However, you should take a look at this outfit, and then all of his other outfits, and you'll see that he just does whatever is most popular on /fa/, usually. In this outfit he's trying to layer like he saw in all those jap streetwear inspo threads, and then in his next fit he'll try to do techwear.

Also, look at that fucking post he made in that shoe collection thread. He posts a bunch of shoes, all of them exclusively things /fa/ talks about, and is like "yeah I'm gonna buy some qasas and rafdidas soon..." Fucking disgusting. Those two shoes have nothing to do with each other, they're completely different shoes made for completely different aesthetics.

And I understand when people have a hard time nailing down what most inspires them or resonates with them, but Birthday is fucking ridiculous. One thing that really sums up his personality well is a post he made in the sufu "post what you're listening to" thread. He posts a standard /mu/-meme animal collective song (Alvin Row, the most /mu/ hyped track on their most /mu/ hyped album) and says "this is the song I'd listen to if I was murdering someone" or something really cringey like that. I used to talk like that when I was in middle school whenever I was trying to impress people with my stupid self-identity crisis. Oh won't you please look at me and my cool, underground, and wEiRd music tastes!

And that fit just sucks entirely on its own, it's painfully obvious that his attempt at layering is not an organic thing and that he's forcing it so fucking hard. He's wearing a too-big shirt under a smaller shirt under a button up. Simply amazing layering. It's obvious that his base layer tee is just a walmart tee that he sized up on to get "that drape," because when he layers it, it flairs out like a skirt. His pinrolling sucks, his shoes suck, everything sucks.

Not even considering the designer's intention with the shoes, it's still just really wrong to imagine them in the context of techwear.
