Or just take a sharp knife or something man. I used a hunting knife to make a pair of jeans into shorts..I then immediately threw them away because they looked super shitty but the point is it was sharp enough to cut through it.

I literally did this 2 days ago. There are specific scissors that cut fabric very well... Idk where to get them though.

Make sure you pin the fabric above where you're going to cut it so the fabric doesnt move as you cut it.

Cut off less than you want initially then try them on. You cant go back once you have made a cut.

Do as few cuts as possible otherwise the edges can get jagged
