Every time I see him post on sz it's usually just trying to reinforce his special little aesthetic. Someone likes normcore or any other style besides sz-core he gets all butthurt cries about muh secret club then bams the person. I was lurking through some threads that I knew didn't really fit the stylezeitgeist aesthetic and sure enough there is Faust crying about how these designers/brands are boring, bland, not as talented. I dislike him as much as you but to say he doesn't know what he's talking about is just plain wrong. He has a ton of knowledge but he just chooses to be a total cunt with that knowledge. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that fit was shit. Sure the pieces are cool besides the pants they're cheap and fit like shit. how2fashun is a joke regarding people who in full seriousness inquire and expect to be told what they should wear. they seem to have no personal interest or enthusiasm in actually wearing this or that particular thing, or even have a sense of whether or not it looks good on them, to their own selves. well, this is their lot to deal with, isnt it. Some pursue a career in mental health, behavioural counseling or social work. I am not one of those people, and do not derive joy from interacting closely and repeatedly with people describing themselves as empty vessels hungry for knowledge, whatever the fuck that means.

And I wholeheartedly believe that judgement is a passive task that happens in the background. whether one chooses to articulate the results or not varies, but judgement itself is invariable. so who am I to judge? well, really just anyone. I feel some sense of relief in being direct with people and maybe they'll find some worth in that too.

Well actually; here's something that happend to me yesterday.

My lab partner had broken her foot, so I sat there and was expecting to do the lab alone. To my gain someone decided to sit next to me and do the lab with me. Unfortunately this person had done so in a way that he sad down with his back face to me and asked the group next to me if "this guy is alone", he quickly turned around and I stared, smiling directly at him, he said nothing. I guess this is how you become a impromptu lab partner?

Not until the lab started did we introduce... anyway the guy talked entirely in imperatives and was mumbling (quite audibly) rude things to himself. At no point did I feel comfortable during this lab but I also didn't act out on my discomfort, I didn't think there would be profit in it, i think the arrangement is temporal anyway.
I wondered afterwards, I actually completely re-enacted the scene in my mind where I would flat out would throw him to the floor and drive my heel through his jaw for being such a condescending and abrasive cunt.

But I think, for me at least, it was better that I did not act out on that discomfort and decided to slough through those 3hours.

You'll need to add flesh to this before you can strip it. I see to some degree where you're coming from, and I'm not suggesting that there isn't a responsibility held by the author in this context. That responsibility is not to the reader or replier or whoever, but to themselves, to ask "maybe it wasn't the childrens fault", "maybe I could save myself if I had acted like this", "maybe there is imperfection here".

While this isn't a call to peacocking up the wazoo like london fashion week and wearing gaffer tape gowns with your mile-high DIY medges, a lot of the posters you see places like StyleZeitgeist and SUFU are pretty much dressing to blend in with other forum posters there. This fits one of the definitions of Normcore given by the silly folks that branded the idea in popular consciousness. Of course, the normcore you're likely to see is wearing awkward combinations of ill-fitting clothes from the 90s and 'works' on art student waifs with cotton candy-colored hair the same as it does on professional models. They'd look just as well in some belgian student's grad collection from the royal academy or whatever mismatched vintage.
