But shitty velcro knock off owner detected

>> No.8809436

>>8809362
So they are blatant ripoffs. Who cares?

Granted, these and genuine Raf Velcros have a noticeably different shape. But imagine two products visually identical, the only difference being that one is a ripoff/fake/replica and the other is the genuine article. If you like the design of the genuine, then by force of reason you should like the design of the ripoff/fake/replica.

I was merely pointing out that it is incredibly misguided to try and verify the quality of a product from a mere image of the product, which is common occurrence here. Quality is, at the very least, somewhat subjective and you cannot ascertain it without the item in hand.

For the record, I don't own any velcro shoes but if your first inclination is to call me a moron and then announce that you believe I'm being defensive, then you should seriously consider the amount of time you spend on 4chan and its effect on your argumentative skills.

It's probably not a Margom sole, that's all. There are tons if rubber factories out there and it's not like Margom is the only one making a rubber sole for stitched constructions. Also, I imagine that few folks would use an Italian sole and pay to ship it to a Portuguese factory and add more cost when there are plenty of Portuguese rubber suppliers.

ASOS actually uses real magroms. Somebody got a quote from the company on the soles before and screenshotted it, they're dirt cheap. Something like $4 in a (relatively) small order. I'm sure Asos get's bigger on their production scale.

They're nice and thick, but certainly nothing distinguishable.
