it kind of differs between products. bbs uses great materials and there is obvious care to the products. the problem several products has is issues with the pattern making. seams can go up in some areas due to the construction forcing strain on that particular area, and stuff like that. i don't believe this problem would affect this particular product, but i also think it's too expensive and honestly doesn't look so good.

I almost slept on this thread but glad I lurked the catalog to weigh in here.

BBS worked in the shadows of ccp.
Ofc he could never live up to carol and everyone knows this.
Now Boris is trying to evolve is offerings into a more refined straight forward design. Think Armani but with much more frills mind you.
Finally, the subject of subject of quality -- this is not something Boris is interested in when he approaches, or devises a design and he certainly does not let it dictate his ideas. In that respect, that's fair considering what he's trying to achieve. This certainly does not validate his ideals esp at the costs he's asking for. Take a look at his 11 line. He's essentially charging his fans for 2nd rate designs at mainline prices. It's quite a sham and reflecting so amongst the consensus. Boris is a very hard working motivated individual but I have a strong feeling he will burn out very soon and have to fall back to his roots to gain his following back again.

Meh kind of. I think you could say that about most Gothic/drapey designers. Even though Damir has moved on from that look for the most part and CCP is putting out more defined stuff I understand what you're saying. I think what Boris did, was take goth-ninja all the way. He created the most interesting looks in my eyes around 2012 sure he probably took inspiration from many other designers but I still think he was doing his thing. Lately he has been putting out some stuff I really liked and that has been quite different from his older stuff
