I didn't make that other post. The stuff in the OP isn't entirely serious, I have a Parka hanging next to me right now that I also plan on wearing when it gets colder. I just think that we've said all that can be said and seen all that needs to be seen on this board when it comes to Parkas and Bombers so I think it would be good to have a thread on outerwear that isn't discussed as much on here.

It's a fairly standard cut yeah but I find those can be used in a load of modern looking fits. I mean if you look through this thread you'll see most of the chesterfield coats are shown being worn with tees and/or sneakers.

Yeah, does look nicer than the Acne coat. Acne quality seems to have declined a bit lately. I see some nice older ones for sale once in a while but they're always in tiny child sizes.

Floral patterning has no doubt been around for a long time so it's probably more of a case of who's using them at a particular moment rather than who did it first, as long as they make it their own in some way or do something interesting.
