So,my sneaker game is pretty weak. My go-to pairs are all mainly converse. (A plebby black pair as beaters, a pair with a black upper + toe cap white lower, and white jack purcells.) They are all nice enough that I don't mind them, but every fit I've posted I've always been dinged on not having very interesting sneakers, especially since I struggle a bit with color coordination with indigo.

So, what are some better sneakers? Not looking to drop the money on something like Converse, but I have the money.

I don't own any but I've handled several pairs. They're quite chunky in real life with their slightly bulbous toebox and the thickened sole, particularly compared to CPs. The leather on the black and white ones is much shinier than some of the pics suggest. The leather is pretty hard as well, I don't know how comfortable the tongue would be because of this.

I bought these for this summer as a compromise to not being able to get MMM and needing a white sneaker. Here's what up.

$80 is ok for what you get I guess... but they are always on sale instore and $50 is good. Student sales bring the shoe down to $20 which is amazing. (just give them a .edu email)

Quality is nike. The white "leather" is so cheap it's the main reason why I didn't like them. Its so thin and just poking the weird painted leather stars to spiderweb out. They come creased deadstock it's so bad. The shoosh and suede are oddly of higher quality (compared to the white leather). The outsole makes it kinda chunky but w/e. Other than that... rather comfy. The shoe is rather breathable. Not a trainer but still very walkable in. And if you can get it for those sale prices it becomes a very nice shoe for the price.

but tbh I am wishing I got a real trainer or roshe run instead for a bit more functionality.
