Maybe in the US. Fedoras are gay because literally nobody wears them anymore aside from very old dudes, but these things are frequently seen in the UK on youngish to middle-aged labourers. Walk into any pub and people will be wearing them. Also Slavs.

If you're in Ireland, do it anywhere. you'll be fine.
If you're in Britain then don't do it if you're in the south-east.

It's fucking ridiculous that hats are so frowned upon on here because they are a completely fine fashion accessory. I can see the problem with fedoras, because those should specifically be worn with certain clothing and not a button-up with flame patterns on it, but these flat caps are fine because most times the people I see wearing them are dressed well and appropriately. If you like it, buy it and wear it accordingly.

I live in an area with a high concentration of both poor labourers and rich dickheads.
Both can be seen wearing flatcaps however the poor go for traditional styles of tweed whereas the richy types might experiment with leather or floral patterned linen

I think it could look good with a dress shirt, chinos or dark denim, brogues, and suspenders. tattoos and facial hair would help infinitely.
