Do you mean general shoe polishing/care or just specifically shining?

it'll basically be for plain black shoes like this

Any leather shoe can be polished, but remember not to layer it too much on the parts that flex, or else your polish will crack and flake off. Remember to use conditioner and to strip the shoe every once in a while. Having mirror-like finishes on your shoes says a lot. I consider shoes to be the most important part of an outfit. No homo.

If you go for a mirror shine expect to be spending time every day touching them up. Also if you get caught in a spot of rain you will have to start over.

LOVE those shoes, just curious, does anyone know what sole the patrik ervell models use?

Looks like they have their resoles and put on some chunkier leather

Solid advice here.

Also I agree with the shoes being the most important part of a fit which is why I always make sure mine are nice and polished.
