Post inspo with coats that hit below the hips, at least half way down the thighs. Overcoats, topcoats, trenchcoats, mackintoshes etc.

No parkas or coats with hoods. Collars and lapels encouraged but not essential.

I'll mainly be posting them paired with sneakers because that combination is cool and unusual so some inspo with other footwear will be appreciated.

You can find some with the kind of lapel where popped is kind of its default position. You can fold them down for the appearance of regular lapel but when they're popped up there's no crease.

What do you normally wear anyway?

By actually going to see a tailor. In this picture the leg opening is very narrow (16 to 17cm, maybe less), so yes to get that effect, you'd probably have to have the LO narrowed down, because it's unlikely a stock pair of woolen pants is going to have a leg opening like that.

They usually have wider leg openings, to acomodate certain dress shoes. It's not a hard operation to have done though.

Look up Thom Browne pants/trousers.

That guy probably has 2 in cuffs and not 2 3/4 in.

I have been told that you need double the fabric length to do it, so if you wanted 2 in cuffs you would need at least 4 inches of fabric.

Not sure about getting pants that slim/tapered though.

i do have this Charles Redd winter coat, it was a gift, and i would recommend it.

Recently got hold of this Barbour mac coat thing. It fits nicely and it's waterproof and everything.

I have a wool coat already and styling that isn't all that hard but this coat I'm finding a bit harder. Does anyone have any black mac inspo or any general Barbour outerwear inspo?
