Yes it is, television is a waste of money and made to keep middle-class people from doing anything.

i watch a ton of movies and listen to a ton of music but i still have my favourite genres so my top three isn't very broad
and i don't really play vidya anymore, these are just the ones i've had the most fun with in the past

I never said they weren't good movies. Citizen Kane is a good movie, but only a 14-year-old would seriously put it in their top 3. Memento and Usual Suspects are good movies too, but for someone who supposedly watches a "ton of movies", they must be mostly shit if those are the best you can come up with

i watch one movie every day. i've seen a lot of movies, good and bad. citizen kane is widely recognised as the best film of all time, primarily for it's groundbreaking film techniques. that's in my top three purely from a technical standpoint. the other two are just my preference, i love action thrillers. yeah they may not be the best, but it's my favourite genre. at least i don't spend my time being a cunt to people on the internet :)

It might have been groundbreaking when the movie came out but if new technical innovations in cinema are all you're looking for, then you're missing out a lot by placing Citizen Kane in your top 3. The movie is dated, there are new movies that have improved a lot on what it did. Still praising it for film techniques just makes you sound like someone who pretends to know a lot about cinematography when in reality they just read and parrot imdb top 100 lists without actually knowing jack shit about films as a medium.
