What do you guys think shoes will look like in the future? For men, I've been looking at how shoes have gone from brown/black leather, then to sneakers, and now to these weird hybrids/composites, in both what kind of shoe it's supposed to be (to make it more flexible for various get-ups, I guess) and in the materials they're made with. Fashion higher ups must have finally come around to doing these, except with more expensive materials than plastic and foam like you see in cheaper shoes.

Do you think the actual shape of the shoe won't change much at this point, and now is just focused on making them as easy as possible to put on? Will fashionable shoes just cycle through colors, patterns, or... fuck. I wish I had a better grip on this. Don't even get me started on women's shoes since those seem even more all over the place. Or wait, maybe in the future shoes won't change, but what's acceptable for men to wear could change. Men might start wearing a very similar form of heels and so on.
