Anyone got any recommendations to solve my hair atrocity? People say they like my hair like this--even my hair stylist, but if you can tell, it uses a LOT of gel because my hair is incredibly frizzy.

Any low maintenance recommendations? I was thinking of going low fade taper, but I don't know if I have the head shape for that. Or I suppose I could have my hair stylist buzz off the sides and still do this hairstyle on top like a mohawk. But I'm open to suggestions.

If you really want to keep this style up, bus the sides so they dont need gel and put about half as much on the top.

If you want to go a new style, wash all that shit out of your hair, and go with a soft fluffy look. Use a volumising powder to lift the top hair and a bit of hair spray on hairline / scalp lines to hold it in place.

That amount of gel is just unnecessary and looks horrible. A girl would not want to go anywhere near that hair with her hand.

It's not so much that I care to keep the hairstyle going, but rather I just don't have a clue what I'm doing. Like I said, my hair is incredibly light and frizzes outward in a straight afro type of deal when it's clean and dried.
