They're shitty. The leather is thin and stretches out. Buy the beeswax or look elsewhere for black. Beeswax is thicker.

it depends on what docs. if you buy the solovairs and the made in england ones the qualitiy is def top notch, but hard to break in.
if you buy the regular mall tier chinese ones, they are going to be pretty shitty. prob more shitty than the malis from what i can tell.

just get docs. Clarks aren't that great boots. Their suede looks nice because it gets really nappy but the leather is ugly. Idk what you people see in beeswax leather. It literally has the color of shit

Hey OP. I've got a set of these.
really take a look at your pair before you buy them. When i was at the store, the pair they almost sold me had stitching that was missing, and then the pair i actually got has slightly differently shaped toes. the qc is not good.

they aren't the most comfortable boots either, the "leather insole" only goes to the arch area and then stops, and then just is card afterwords.

í own them in beeswax. the leather is rather rough around the shaft and still hurts my shins after 1 year. Not too happy with the sole being crepe either, the only thing I like is its rather slim silhouette.

Had I knwon better, I'd just have bought cordovan dress boots for the look I was tryping to archieve\

Have a pair of 1460s

They have a very long tapered toe made for "Egyptian" feet

I have "Roman" feet.

Sized up and they still pinched my pinky toe a bunch. When I finally broke them in a bit they felt fine but the toe box was stretched and ugly

I'm sure it will fit fine for all you 1.9m + pure-bred white europeans.

I was actually considering Clark's desert boot but when I saw that the treads were like a gel I decided to buy doc martins instead. I hear it's a hit or miss with them but I'm very pleased with my docs ( Barnie chucka boot)

i don't know why everyone is hating on the mali's. i've had these ones for like 8 months (copped them for $55 because black friday) and the leather has held up completely fine. they're pretty worn in and have like adapted to my awkward flat feet nicely. the laces wore out after like 5 months so i had to replace them, and the sole has recieved quite a bit of wear but crepe soles are designed for comfort and not really for durability so that's not really a valid complaint. once they wear out completely i'll probably get some vibram soles put on,
