I tried several hairdressers in my new city and the best one was the cheapest - 13€. He's a guy and does pretty much what I ask him. He's not top shit and my hair looks healthier (like they thin it better or whatever) at other places but he doesn't try to make me some edgy shit I didn't ask for that doesn't look any good.

Literally never gotten a haircut I liked.
Started cutting own hair and it looked like shit the first few months, but after a while you usually get to know how your hair works and it'll save money.

I have shit hair and a shit hairline so I don't really bother to get anything other than a neat cut at the barbershop my dad took me to when I was a kid. It's 30 AUD every 6-10 weeks.

$65 per hair cut, but I cut it roughly every two months, so half that.

I try and go to the barber every 2 weeks but by the end of one week I already want to go back. I don't cause then I'd be spending too much although compared to some people here, my barber is pretty cheap.

Standard haircut is $12, but I tip an extra 2, because she's this nice, old, Dominican woman who takes real care of giving me haircuts. I also think it helps to keep our relationship business wise healthy, because I've been a customer there for about half a decade now.

Although, standard haircut includes a wash at my place, and will run you about 16 dollars.

I'm not really happy with the result, neither was mum or sis. I'm not sure if I should try one of the other few hair dressers in town or go back to letting mum cut it short like a crew cut. It's getting really long and messy again so I'll have to get it cut sometime in the next few weeks. It goes curly and wavy, especially at the back and I don't really want it to look like I gave up on personal grooming.,

My sister works at a salon, my haircuts are free but I usually give them $10-15 if she also colors my hair. It beats how much other people have to pay for the same treatment (they're a pricier place too) but they have so many clients it's difficult for me to get in sometimes.
