Should I cop the one to the left (http://abovethecloudsstore.bigcartel.com/product/grand-scheme-courier-jacket))

or to the right (http://www.capsulestore.com.au/products/rainsjacketblack))

I was so tempted to buy the Grand Scheme courier jacket but I'm really skeptical of the quality due to it being Grand Scheme.
I would have to feel it in person before I buy I think.

i saw it physically the other day and the quality seems decent, but just not sure if it's better than the right in terms of casually wearing it around

Well they're different styles. I like both of them a lot but you just have to ask yourself if you are more into the techwear look or the more traditional look. I would think that the Grand Scheme jacket would look good with black or dark chinos and sneakers while the Rains jacket would look good with denim and boots as it is a little more traditional. (I've still seen Rains worn with techwear though)
Rains is really good quality for the price and all the friends I have who own Rains adore it.
But yeah, it comes down to how you usually dress. If you are going Rains, check out Kaeho.com.au as they have regular sales Rains. Just make sure you get the size right because I've heard they run big.

Right looks better but, if it's like a stutterhiem it can get really hot.

I like the left one, but then again I prefer the look of techwear.

i own the rains long jacket in black and i really like it. however, the one jacket on the left looks reasonably nice. i suppose it'd depend entirely on what direction your wardrobe is heading. think in terms of outfits rather than pieces.
