Tagging along and bumping - I currently have two pairs of Outlier Slim Dungarees and the fit is spot on.

Who makes jeans or even raw with a similar cut? It seems like some styles are a bit skinny around the crotch, where Outlier seems to have done a great job balancing the skinny legs with the tightness of the crotch.

THEY WEREN'T *MADE* TO HAVE SHITTY STACKS. YOU JUST BOUGHT A PAIR OF JEANS /FA/ TOLD YOU TO BUY. NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT AT ALL, BUT YOU DID NOT LOOK AT THE MEASUREMENTS OR TRY THEM ON PRIOR TO PURCHASE, WHICH ENDED UP BEING YOUR DOWNFALL. PINROLLING WILL CUFF THE EXCESS FABRIC WHICH IS MAKING THE """SHITTY STACKS""" AND AT THE SAME TIME IT WILL MAKE THE LEG OPENING NARROWER. YOU WERE ASKING HOW TO ACHIEVE BOTH OF THESE THINGS (PRETTY SURE YOU WERE ANYWAY) AND I CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT PINROLLING IS A VIABLE OPTION FOR YOU

By the way if all you've judging/taking cues from is that one picture, you shouldn't worry too much about how it looks on the internet : you'd need to see it from different angles to make sure it actually looks good. About a million things can be done to make any piece of clothing look good in pictures, but that doesn't mean the fit is going to be like that in real life.

With that said, it's certainly possible to get that kind of look on your jeans, but you'd have to make sure that they aren't too long (>>8454684 these are too long and the stacks don't look good), and you can have the leg opening of your jeans narrowed to whatever you please. Just make sure you don't ask for a 16cm opening if the general fit of the jeans is on the looser side, otherwise what you'll get is at best a carrot cut (wide/normal thighs and tapered calves), and in some cases something that looks like shit.

The safest thing, in my opinion, is to find jeans that have a leg opening of below 18cm, and at the narrowest 16.5 or something similar. 17.5 or 17 is my personal favorite, allows you to wear them with different kinds of shoes even if you have big feet (11us here), it won't look weird, and it has the most natural fit in the bottom part of the jeans.

N&F doesn't necessarily fit like shit, it depends entirely on how your own body proportions : you'll find sick fits with n&f and shitty fits with them too.

As far as good skinnies, I've actually heard really good things about ACNE, but people usually say their jeans are too fucking expensive, haven't tried them personally. I like APC myself, they have a bunch of different styles so there's something for everyone there, usually.

April77 can look ridiculously good on some people as far as the fit goes, but aside maybe from their selvedge jeans (which I haven't tried), the denim they use is low quality and just doesn't look good. In that respect they're lightyears away from APC for instance, who don't even use amazing denim, but theirs has that almost metallic kind of look to it, it's a lot more vibrant and feels like a higher end product.

I've owned a New Standard (bit too lose for my taste but a good timeless fit really), and I now own a Petit new standard, which I like but the leg opening was too narrow for my taste, and believe it or not I've had it tailored so it could be larger. Waste of money but I wanted to put it on and it wouldn't sell so...

Everyone loves their Petit Standard cut, and so do I, except the rise is too low and my balls were physically aching from putting it on. Now you're supposed to wear it a little below the waist bone, and if you wear it higher than that, your balls suffer. The issue is that you can't wear it too low at first, when the denim is still very rigid. My perfect pair of jeans would be a PS, with more room in the crotch.

The New Standard and Petit New Standard have a high/mid rise, so unless you wear it at belly button level you'll have enough room for your junk. The PS is great, but it has a low rise, which means less room for your junk.

N&F is known to have weird proportions, but again for some people it works perfectly, for some it doesn't. That just life, not every brand will work for you and that sucks but there's just no point in buying stuff you can't wear.

The leg opening of your jeans needs to be narrow enough to create the stacks, but wide enough to NOT get stuffed into the shoe, which ALWAYS looks bad. What you want is the opening of the jeans to simply *rest* on top of the shoe, and depending on the length you'll get the stacks you're looking for. Again you need a pretty tappered pair for this to work, but it will happen when the pants are in between covering up the shoe and being stuck inside of it.

BY THE WAY : not every pair of jeans or pants in genral will work with every pair of shoes. Some combinations will work better than others. That's also a pretty good reason not to buy Supra Skytops with gigantic ribbing on the opening of the shoe, otherwise you'll be forced to stuff the pants inside, or to get really baggy jeans.

One last thing : stacks are trickier to get looking good than most people think, and it's hard to find good examples of it. Just make sure it doesn't look like >>8454684, because this just looks like your jeans are too fucking long.

I'd say stay the same. Like you I am a 29 in N&F and while I don't own a pair of Acne Max Cash, I tried on a friend's size 29 pair and if fit perfectly.
Denim does tend to stretch though so if you're worried it will be too loose, sizing down won't hurt.

Go for it, it'll add something out of the norm to your fits, instead of a regular black jeans, it will add some character.

If its shiny like n&F it might look dumb(not rly) but nudie and zara waxed are like matte, and should be acceptable to the regular public.

Also I think i might be mixing coated and waxed
