the shoes you have in the pic look like corrective old people shoes. And tailoring pants is pretty easy, so it doesn't cost that much. It's $10 to shorten pants and about $15 to taper them, and the result looks like a whole new pair of pants so its def worth it.

They are combat boots, only difference is instead of the military wearing them they are given to police officers and special police units.

They also aren't as flashy compared to the others.

Those boots actually look pretty cool. Try tucking your pants into them. Also buying smaller pants won't give you the same effect as getting them hemmed and tapered. I would post a pic but I'm on mobile right now. You can look up Julius 7 cargos as an example of extreme taperin.

Maybe, not 100% on them but I'll look around when i go to the shops. I'm in australia now but even simple boots like those or when it comes to the military here cost like 130-180$. Regardless if they are surplus or not. Only if i was still in Serbia..

Ordering online is hard with a size 12 foot too since always sold out or they don't have them.

Maybe if i was overseas but not here. People there won't find it unusual for servicemen or ex servicemen to do it. I don't want to look like attention whore here either. As for the Julius i looked up looks alright i guess, also looked at the prices (700$+aud for cargo pants). Jesus himself must wear these.

Not going for a "military look" per say, this is generally how i usually dress and have for a while. Outside of my military uniform and various pieces of camouflage i guess i got probably one of the most boring and plain wardrobes in existence.
