I think a lot of people on here forget that being fashionable or stylish really isn't about nondescript basics or really expensive clothes. Sure there's a huge gap in quality when you compare a sweater from h&m or UO and a designer piece in most cases, but It's really about knowing how to wear something, as well as your level of confidence while wearing it. Those skills will ultimately help you look better in the long run as opposed to having a bottomless wallet.

depending on what you wear it with, you could easily thrift one for cheap, or you could get a decent jacket from a fast fashion outlet like asos, topman, or even h&m. if you want a raw denim jacket or your willing to spend more ($75-$150) you could go with Levi's or Nudie. I own a nudie jacket and it fits great, I also like levi's, but I cut the sleeves off my old one. I'm a smaller guy so thrifting a good denim jacket is difficult to say the least, so I usually have to go to stores as opposed to thrift shops.
