I bought some new shoes. They fit pretty well. Half a size down was too tight at the front, half a size up and the back was slogging on and off.

But the problem is that there's a very slight amount of chafing going on in the back when I walk. Not so much that the back slips off, but enough that it rubs against my heels and god damn does it get painful.

Is there a solution here? Obvious one is thicker socks, I don't have any at the moment. My temporary plan is ankle socks + regular socks on top, but I haven't tried it yet.

Completely different things. Zespys have their own unique silhouette and feel weird to wear. Zanerobe are more like sweatpants.

I personally like my Zespys more, but both of their quality are debatable. I've ripped the crotch on Zespys twice but they feel a lot more durable than the Zanerobe.

I'd suggest copping the Zanerobe since you will be able to send them back easier if you don't like them. then get the Zepsys. Cause if you don't like the Zespys youre kind of stuck with them because the shipping alone is hella expensive.
