To start: whatre some good ways to restore DWR coating on jackets/pants. Anyone have any waxes or wash ins to recommend?

Lurker here. What is techwear? Is it wearing engineered clothes or it's just cargo pants, jackets and cool backpacks?

It's city line of aether apparel jackets.
It's not meant for /out/ but it combines techy features and looks kinda nice.

I figure someone in here might have an answer for this. I really like the look of the Aether Empire and Union jackets, and I'd buy one in a second, but I can't seem to figure out their sizing. Everything, numbers wise, seems to indicate I'm a size 1, but I've seen a couple of posts stating that their stuff runs small. Does anyone own one of these jackets, or any shell by them, to give me an idea of their sizing. And if anyone could compare them to a MEC and/or North Face jacket, that would fucking make my day.

I don't if the Arc'Teryx video the other guy mentions covers this, but consider the intended properties of the garment when you're doing this.

You do *not* want DWR on any surface that's supposed to wick. Cop a spray versus a soak and just spray down the outer.

I've got the Highline from Aether in a size zero. Their sizing does indeed run small, because the sizing chart says 40" on chest for size zero, but I have a 36" chest.

I don't own MEC or TNF jackets, so I couldn't help you there, but I would say the sizing is similar to the athletic cut of Marmot/Deadbird.
