here's kind of a detail shot of the butt, i'll just keep adding information about my clothes until other people join in.

That patch on the back is actually not a black/death metal band, it's a one person comedy folk punk project called Bradley Boxcar and Satan, check em' out.

how does this outfit look? i like the way my jacket looks with the shit, honestly. i think the shirt drapes pretty well. The jacket actually has quite a few details you miss from this angle, so i might re-take the picture

these are the overalls i was talking about. they looked really bad for a while, but they're finally starting to settle in and fit better, and get more worn out. They're only a year old so they're not quite at that super comfy state yet.
I usually wear either these and my crust pants and these or my crust pants in the winter. it gets too cold for just one, as they're both pretty "distressed".

yeah, it looks a lot better in real life, i think it's mostly because the pictures aren't good enough at representing the colors or textures, so since those are the most important part of the clothing it makes it lose some of it's "soul" (you also can't smell them through pictures) ;)

i overpainted the white a little, i think if i cut it back with some black or scrape it off it would improve a bit. Also the colors in the picture are off from real life and the white looks much stronger.

So it's actually just a meaningless buzzword and not a reference to a certain kind of cut/fit/whatever? That's too bad. I've seen it used most in reference to baggy shit so I was hoping it meant I could make wearing overlarge things look deliberate. Even XS shirts are often too big on me, feels like maybe I should just give up and own it.

One of my vests, worn with a hoodie. the vest is relatively new, but i like the brown pants, black hoodie, and beige shirt. i think it adds a lot of continuity to the outfit

Here's a similar outfit with just the hoodie and a different shirt, i feel it looks a little less cluttered, and the matching mustard yellow of the shirt and the zipper are fun.

This is the closest to understanding what i want to discus in this thread was much more along the lines of that! I am interested in non punk fashion but i keep it separate from my personal dress. And my personal dress happens to be something i don't want to base on totally looking good to other people i want it to look good to me. And having other people look at and talk about my clothing is just a bonus. :)

Have you done anything / treated them in any way other than wearing them?

My docs are around a year old now and I was considering spray painting / polishing them so they look shinier because they've been scuffed up a bit and become dull looking, but if they are going to look like that over a few more years then hell i'm down to just keep wearing them as is, those look cool man

That's just how they get after a few years of wear, if yours are the less glossy leather kind they'll scuff better and you can treat them with things like leather balm, or you can wax them.
the only thing i've done is leather balm a few times so the leather doesn't dry out from salt during the winter and crack.
I also skate in them sometimes so that probably helps get them beat to shit.

but the more you wear them the better they'll look! so keep that in mind. :)
