biting criticism. i can take it. just doesn't feel great. iirc I was kinda drunk when i wrote that email as well. idfk, prolly wanted to come off as semi formal/sound half-literate, but my smart-ass had to throw some dumb comments in there as well, i suppose.

as for 2k14 AIM: i don't have fb; me and 3 close friends favour keeping in contact over the internet and beyond text/phone. aside from that, there's not really a defense for our decision on AIM, because it's a clunky, ugly website that's poorly designed and crashes all too often. we'll probably move to something more convenient soon enough, so i guess it is what it is...
